Line Name - "YES, SO GOOD"
426 Feet Long / 130 Meters Long

Specs of this Line - 426' Long (130M)
SpiderSilk Main. Moonwalk Backup
Sag - LOTS
ALL NATURAL - Meaning no anchors were installed for the making of this line!  Boulder Slings were used
Our intention of this trip was to establish Joshua Tree's Newest & Longest highline. After a few days of scouting, this monster line was found!! We used about 50 feet of spansets to wrap around boulder structures on each side to create our anchors. The line went up super smooth and allowed the highliner to touch a beautiful space!  The first crossings were made in very strong wind. This created a very unique walking experience - With the heavy wind the line was being pushed to the side nearly 15 feet while you were standing in the middle!

First Ascent of the "GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE" Highline in Joshua Tree

We found this highline spot while searching for the big line. This line required some very unique rigging! In fact, both sides required Cams and Boulder Slings.  The system was equalized off a few different features and even used the spire as an "A-FRAME."  Davis Dailey and I got the dual FA on this line. Sometimes it's not about length or height, but experiencing beautiful space!  This line sure puts a smile on your face and gives you a good taste of Joshua Tree. Ron Doremus sent this line on his 31st birthday!

Special support from MOUNTAINSMITH , VOLTAIC,  BALANCING EARTH SLACKLINES, SCOTT HARDESTY MEDIA

We put gear to work out on these adventures! This project we fortunate enough to partner up with Mountainsmith, Voltaic and Balancing Earth Slacklines.

Mountainsmith hooked us up with an incredible pack that fit all the slackline gear I needed it to. It was very abrasion resistant and held up to Joshua Tree's sharp granite amazingly. Tons of organization and the frame extremely secure for those heavy highline packs!  http://mountainsmith.com/

Voltaic kept our cameras charging! Scott was able to charge his cameras completely off their mobile panel and battery cell setup.  It's so cool using the sun to keep all of our technology fully powered!I was very impressed by how fast and efficient the whole set up was.  http://www.voltaicsystems.com/

Balancing Earth Slacklines is just such an incredible company to work with. We are always very impressed with the gear they are putting out onto the market.  The "RASTA LEASH" is the most burly, bomber, secure leash available. We have no worries when it comes down to this extremely safe leash setup. Great way to add some color and security to your highline rig!  http://www.balancingearthslacklines.com/
